Ida Bell Lemay Allen Landers was born March 2, 1939 in Maury County, the daughter of the late Johnny Lemay and Martha Pierce Lemay. Ida was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing and wrestling. Her family shared that she would collect anything with an eagle, from clothing to salt and pepper shakers; they were in every room of her home. Her granddaughter said that her most favorite past time was "fussing" with you! Ida was a member of the Mt. Zion Church of Christ. Ida was first married to the late Alvie Allen and later married Richard Landers who survives.

Survivors in addition to her husband include her children, Brenda Kevin Odom of Mt. Pleasant, Cathy Long of Pulaski, Alvin Allen of Tiptonville and Robert Allen of Columbia; grandchildren, Thaddaus Odom, Timothy Odom, Taylor Odom, J.W. Fry and Kelly Shoan Dickey; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edna Church and Gladys Bailey and four brothers, John Lemay, Jr., Claude Lemay, Billy Lemay and Bobby Lemay along with several nieces and nephews.. In addition to her parents and husband, Ida was preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Sue McNeal.

Ida passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Dalton Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencer Hill Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends Thursday and Friday from 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Thaddaus Odom, Timothy Odom, Taylor Odom, J.W. Fry, Kelly Dickey and Shoan Dickey. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Bryant, John McNeal, Wesley Pruitt, Randy Lemay, Ricky Lemay, William Pruitt and Claude Lemay, Jr.
