Funeral services for First Lt. B. H. Williams Jr., 25, killedin action i Germany March 31 1945, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Eastland funeral home.
The Rev. Grady Craddock will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Ear Hooper. Graveside military rites at Spring Hill cemetery will be conducted by members of the American Legion post t.
A native of Hermitage, Tenn., he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Williams who survive.
Educated in Davidson county schools, he graduated from Donelson high school in the class of 1937. Prior to entering the services, Oct 8 1941, he was employed here by Southern Leather Co.
He received his training at fort Bliss, Texas, and Fort Riley, Kan. At the time he was killed, he was serving with the 41st, cavalry reconnaisance squadron, mechanized.
Lieutenant Williams was married Jan. 21 1943 to the former Miss Elizabeth Fowlkes of Alpine, Texas who survives.
He was a member of Bakers Grove Baptist church at Hermitage.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Raymond Highers of Nshville, Mrs. Orville Earhart, Mrs. William Highers and Miss Eva William, all of Hermitage.

Married Elizabeth Martin Fowlkes daughter of Mr and Mrs. Edwin H Fowlkes of Alpine TX. on January 21 1943 at the St. Paul Episcopl Church of Manhattan, Kansas. They would make their home in Manhattan where he is stationed at Camp Forsyth.
