Annie Durst, 90, Salisbury RD 1, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 1995 at Meyersdale Manor Nursing Home, Meyersdale.

Born Sept. 5, 1905 at Garrett County, Md. She was a daughter of the late Robert and Catherine (Cushing) Bowser. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Victor Durst in 1953.

Mrs. Durst was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury American Legion auxiliary and was a retired cafeteria worker of Salisbury Elk-Lick High School. Survivors include one daughter, Ruth Tissue and husband, Mike, Salisbury; one sister-in-law, Nettie Keefer, Salisbury; 3 grandchildren, Beverly Wass and husband, Bernard; Cynthia Brant and husband Wayne; and Rodney Tissue and wife, the former Lisa Wengerd. Also 4 great grandchildren, Adam Brant, Emily Brant, Hannah Tissue and Lydia Tissue.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Salisbury, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Sunday, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, with the Rev., Raymond Brown officiating. Interment, Salisbury Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. John's United Church of Christ.
