Services for Mrs. Abigail Bilby, 80, who died at Ball Hospital Saturday night following five weeks' hospitalization, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Meeks Mortuary with Rev. Russell G. Siferd, pastor of Community United Church of Christ, officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight and prior to services Tuesday. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Bilby, who had been ill two years, was born in Selma, the daughter of Eldon and Elnora (Hines) Cannaday. She resided her entire life in Muncie except for nine years in Anderson and she and her husband had been married 56 years.
Survivors include her husband, Verner E.; three sons, Claude Bilby, Cadillac, Mich., Francis Bilby, Woodland Park Addition, and Wayne Bilby, Westbrook Heights; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
