Henry was the son of Henry Wellington Cobb and Mary Howard. He died at Stuart Circle Hospital in Richmond, Va. He was a tobacconist and a former City Councilman of Greensboro.
He was survived by a daughter from his first marriage Mrs. Guy O. Hunter of Rye, N.Y. and two adopted daughters Mrs. Douglas Elliman of New York City and Mrs. Scales Leslie of New York and Richmond along with several grandchildren.
Henry first married Jennie and after her death he married her younger sister Katherine Henderson Scales 12 Sep 1907 in Manhattan, New York, New York, United States.
