Carson E. Garrett, 61, 303 N. Tillotson Ave., died Friday at his home. He was a former emmploye of Chevrolet-Muncie and prior to that was employed at Ball Brothers, serving as their union steward there for 14 years.
He was a member of UAW Local 499, Avondale Sympathy Club, Chevrolet Blood Bank and the Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; three daughters, six sons, three brothers, 18 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Friends may call at Parson Mortuary from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday and before services there at 10 a.m. Monday. Rev. Robert Carmin, pastor of Industry United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery.
