Clara was raised in rural Elba, NE. She attended rural school to 8th grade then helped out on the family farm. Clara was united in marriage to Harry Pawloski on October 5, 1932 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Farwell, NE. After marriage, she worked on the farm for a while and then the couple moved into Farwell, Ne.
Clara worked at the Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant for a few years and for the Farwell (NE.) School. She also babysat for many children in Farwell, NE.
Clara was a member of the St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Farwell, NE. and the Rosary Sodality.
Clara enjoyed fishing, canning and smoking carp. She loved gardening and canning her produce and working in the yard. She also loved Polka music, playing accordion and word search puzzles.
Clara is survived by: son & daughter-in-law, Ronald & Evon Pawloski of Farwell, NE.; daughters & son-in-law, Agnes Kelly of Grand Island, NE. and Catherine & Duane Hilderbrand of Central City, NE.; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; sister Gustie Albers of Spokane, WA. and a host of relatives and friends.
Clara is preceded in death by: parents; husband, Harry Pawloski; brothers, Adolph, Frank, Leonard, Jake, John and James Tuma and sisters, Albina Tuma, Anna Vincik, Caroline Vincik, Bessie Senseney, Mollie Kelly, Josephine Brahatcek, Mary Horky and Lizzie Jares.
Burial was in the St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, south of Farwell, NE.
