FORMER IDAHOAN SUCCUMBS HERE - Mrs. Ritchotte Dies Thursday at Home of Daughter - After an illness of more than two years from pernicious anemia, Mrs. Georgiana Ritchotte, an early day resident of Idaho and who had lived in Missoula for 20 years succombed at the apartment of her daughter Mrs. Fortunate Duncan. Thursday morning. Born in L'Assomption Quebec, Canada on Feb. 22, 1861, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gyard. She was married on April 26, 1877 to Joseph Ritchotte at Montreal, Canada. The Ritchottes moved to Wallace, Idaho in 1891 and lived in that city until 1910, when they moved to Missoula. Besided her husband, Mrs. Ritchotte is survived by two daughters and several grandchildren. The daughters are Mrs. Duncan and Mrs. Helen Cornish, also of Billings, Meredith Mitchell of Billings and Fred Mitchell of Long Beach, Cal., are among grandchildren. Mrs. Ritchotte also leaves three sisters, all of whom are nuns. They are Sister (Josephine) Guyard of Wallace, Idaho, who arrived here Tuesday and sisters Louise and Leroyer, both of Montreal. The body was taken to Missoula Thursday night and burial will be made from St. Francis Xavier Catholic church, according to present arrangements.
