Father: Eliakim Anderson

William and Amy had the following known children:
Eliakim Andrew, William S., Calvin J., Immogene, Isaac, Rachel, and George.

Geneseo Republic, Sept. 8, 1916

Mrs. Amy Sanders, widow of the late William Sanders, died at her home in Phenix township Tuesday forenoon, Sept. 5, 1916, aged eighty years. Mrs. Sanders has lived in Phenix since 1862 and has many friends to mourn with her surviving children. She was a home loving and kindly woman. Coming to the banks of Rock river in the early days of this county, she has seen the development of the country from its virgin condition to the state of high cultivation which now exists. It was given her to live close to nature, and her years were blessed with health until recently when her advancing years brought feeble health.
Mrs. Sanders was a native of Ohio, born Dec. 4, 1836. She was married to William Sanders in the year 1853, and later in 1862 she accompanied him to Phenix township where she has since lived. Mr. Sanders passed away about seven years ago. Surviving Mrs. Sanders are the following children: Mrs. Rachel Krauts, of Hillsdale; Calvin J., at home; William, of Mammouth; Elikam A. Sanders, of Dawson, North Dakota.
Funeral services were conducted at Ebenezer church this Thursday afternoon by Rev. G. A. Walter. The interment was in the McHenry cemetery.
