ABILENE — The funeral for Orrin I.
Beadleston, 80, Abilene, will be at 2
p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist
Church, Abilene, the Rev. Harold
Holland officiating. Burial will be in
the Abilene cemetery.
Mr. Beadleston died Monday at Mid-
America Nursing Center, Abilene.
He was born Sept. 7, 1899, in Boone
County, Iowa. He came to Kansas as a
young man and lived in Talmage before
moving to Abilene in 1943. He was
employed by Nature Rich Mill, Abilene,
for many years. His wife, Grace,
and one son, Keith, preceded him in
death.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs.
Marjorie Emig, Mrs. Verna Cook and
Mrs. Clema Anderson, all of Abilene;
one son, Alvin, 934 Highland, Salina;
one brother, Ralph, Abilene; one sister,
Mrs. Isa Warner, Clay Center; 13
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to
the church. Friends may call from 7 to
8 p.m. Tuesday at Banner Funeral
Home, Abilene.
