Carolyn M. Bezy, 74, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN. She was born in New Albany, IN on May 16, 1938 the daughter of Clifford LeRoy and Effie Ellen Langley Owen. She was a homemaker and a member of Georgetown Christian Church where she was a key worker with the church food pantry.
She was preceded in death by a brother Clifford Owen, Jr. and a sister Paula Neff.
She is survived by
Two Sons- Raymond Lewis Bezy of New Albany, IN
Robert Wayne Bezy (Shirley) of Palmyra, IN
One Daughter- Michele M. Compton (Stephen) of Jeffersonville, IN
Her Mother- Effie Owen of Georgetown, IN
Three Brothers- Fred Owen of Corydon, IN
Doug Owen of Marengo, IN
Chris Owen of Georgetown, IN
Two Sisters- Beverly Kelly of Georgetown, IN
Barbara Bezy of Goodyear, AZ
Four Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown. Rev. Roy McClain will officiate. Burial will be in Wolfe Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Georgetown on Wednesday from 2 PM to 8 PM and after 9:30 AM on Thursday.
The family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Georgetown Christian Church Food Pantry.
