Anthony A. Gerlich, age 85, of OKC, passed away on January 18, 2005, after a long battle with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease. He was born June 17, 1919 in Prague, OK to Frank and Christine (Sykora) Gerlich along with three brothers. Anthony served in the U.S. Army and on April 24, 1948 married V. Dolores Hunt and to this union four children. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, wife and daughter, Cynthia E. Helmich. Survivors include children, Timothy M. Gerlich & wife, Jayln of AZ, Diana (DeDee) Beaver & husband, Terry of Yukon, Kim A. Gerlich of OKC; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. The family expresses their thanks to Mercy Hospice and St. Ann's Staff, he loved you all, especially his 'girlfriends.' Anthony showed determination by daily exercising to defeat these diseases. Contributions may be made to Parkinson's or Alzheimer's Foundations. Services are 10:00 a.m., Fri., at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with entombment at Resurrection Cemetery.
