The last eight years Mr. Dunham was employed as a guard at the Ohio State Penitentiary. He left Portsmouth in 1942.
He was born at Piketon, a son of the late Jacob and Sarah Foster Dunham.
Surviving are his wife, Laura Annis Dunham; three sons, Ronald, Ben F. and Harry, all of Columbus; five daughters, Mrs. John Crosley of Dayton, Mrs. Gail Taylor, Mrs. Charles Wolfe, Mrs. Harry Shields and Mrs. Virginia Ann Dunham, all of Columbus; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Three brothers, Harry of Waverly and Roy and Daniel, both of Portsmouth; and three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Argenbright of Piketon, Mrs. Sue Davis of Waverly and Miss Nettie Dunham of Columbus, also survive.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Brock Funeral Home with interment in Mound Cemetery at Piketon. The body will arrive here Monday, noon.
