DEATH COMES TO J. F. MATTINGLY - PRESIDENT OF OWENSBORO SHEET METAL WORKS EXPIRES AT HOME HERE. - J. F. Mattingly, president of the Owensboro Sheet Metal Works, died at his home, 1229 Walnut Street at 4:10 p.m. Friday. He was born in Cloverport, but spent the greater part of his life in Owensboro. Surviving are his widow, one son, the Rev. T. J. Mattingly, of Coshocton, Ohio; a granddaughter, Mary Gayle Mattingly, of Coshocton, and one brother, James Mattingly, of Marshall, Tex. Mr. Mattingly was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church and was a deacon of the church for many years. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence at 10 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Raymond L. Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, honorary: Arthur Bollington, O. H. Christie, Morton Estes, W. H. Hagerman, John Stivers and Fred Weir; active: E. E. Birkhead, Elmo Stroud, Ed Troutman, Wilburn Kelly, John Payne and Guy Nance.
