Mrs. Elizabeth Barnhart, 81, of Dry Run, died at 7 a.m. yesterday at her home after an illness of three weeks. She was born Aug. 4, 1880 at Dry Run, the daughter of the late William Anthony and Margaret (Goshorn) Doyle. She was a member of the Upper Path Valley Presbyterian Church, the Fidelity Bible Class, and the Womens Missionary Society of the Church. Mrs. Barnhart was also a member of the Womans Christian Temperance Union. Surviving are her husband, J. Howard Barnhart; two daughters: Mrs. Gertrude Long, Bedford, and Miss Viola M. Barnhart, Dry Run; a sister, Mrs. Annie Grove, Pittsburgh; and two brothers: William Doyle, R.R. Bellwood, and Pearl J. Doyle, Fannettsburg, a number of nephews and nieces also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the John L Agett funeral home, Dry Run, in charge of the Rev. Charles W. Best, her pastor. Burial will be made in the Path Valley Cemetery, Dry Run. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening after 7 o'clock.
