META (Special)--Mrs. Anna Catherine (Katie) Meiburger, 79, died Sunday at her home in Meta. Mrs. Meiburger was born in St. Thomas, Oct. 22, 1884, the daughter of Frank and Theresa Berghahne Kattenbrach. She was married in January 1909, to Henry Beutel, who died in 1912. She was remarried in 1917 to George Meiburger, who died in 1943. Mrs. Meiburger was a member of the St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Meta.
Survivors include: One daughter, Mrs. Theresa Kloeppel, St. Louis; three sons, Paul Beutel, Arnold, Ben Meiburger and Chris Meiburger, Meta; one brother, Chris Kattenbrach, Meta; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The rosary will be recited at a Meta funeral home at 7:30 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at the St. Cecilia Catholic Church with the Rev. J.J. Wilberding officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
