Macon, Georgia- Garylyn J. White, 84, of Millerfield Road, passed into Heaven November 4, 2012, at Pine Pointe Hospice. The family will greet friends form 5:00 - 7:00pm, Tuesday, at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, November 7, 2012, in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with interment at Macon Memorial Park in Macon.
Mrs. White was born December 2, 1927, in Gadsden, Alabama and had lived in Macon for most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Adolfsus Gary Jones and Alberta Amanda Cummins Jones. After her retirement from nursing at Middle Georgia Hospital with twenty-nine years of service, Mrs. White was skilled in the making of porcelain dolls, cross-stitching and making beautiful quilts. She was preceded in death by her husband: Willie White; brother: Walker P. Jones; sons: Stantley V. Wells and Ricky E. Wells and by a grandson: Shane Wells.
The family may be contacted at the residence at Millerfield Road in Macon.
Bridges Funeral Home and Crematory in Gray has charge of arrangements.
