Frank was the epitome of brick walls, and it was decades of searching through records and sending out messages on bulletin boards and mailing lists. It was finally through a weird chance email that we were able to find him. A gentleman sent me a note telling me that he had a copy of a telegram that had been written by Frank to his (Frank's) son-in-law back in 1935/1936. Frank had sent the telegram to his son-in-law to tell him that he was too ill to travel back to Ohio from Missouri for his daughter's funeral.
"Unfortunately, there was a separation" and Frank "went West," leaving his wife Celestine in Ohio. It took several of us a combination of 31 years to find him.
After decades of looking, I found my brick wall.... Frank, I think Boyd would smile to know that I am the one adding this. Cle18
