Loren Worth Zugg, son of the late Daniel W. and Phoebe Zugg, was born on a farm north of Knoxville, May 13, 1881, and died at the Collins Memorial Hospital, april 23, at the age of 77 years.
On Oct. 1, 1902, he was married to Maybell schlotterback. To them were born two daughters, Ruth and Evangeline.
After serving for twenty-nine years in the engineering department of the Veterans Hospital, he retired in 1950.
He is survived by his wife Maybell, the two daughters, Mrs. Vernon Nissen and Mrs. Charles Still of Knoxville. Two grandchildren, David Loren Adams and Caroline Still Reed and one great grandchild, Kenton Reed of Knoxville. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Parsons and Mrs. O. E. Morgan of Harvey.
Funeral services were held April 25 at Evans Arlington Chapel, conducted by Rev. M.D. Summerbell and Rev. Alva T. Browning. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.
