Born February 15, 1922 in Liberty Twp., she was the daughter of the late Stanley W. and Pearl A. (Speck) Hilkert. She was the wife of William E. Aunkst who preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 1993.
She was a homemaker earlier in life she worked at the former Milton Shoe Factory and at Montgomery Mills. She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, crocheting and her video games.
Surviving are sons; Kenneth E. (Shirley McCarty) Geiswhite of New Columbia and Dale K. Aunkst of Dewart; daughters, Gloria A. Diggan of Milton and Barbara J. (Byron Potter) Aunkst of Muncy; a brother, Gerald L. (Alice) Hilkert of Muncy; a sister, Anna Marie (John) Murray of Muncy; 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death besides her husband were two brothers: Harold D. and Donald R. Hilkert.
