She married Anders Berglund on 21 May 1846 in Hanebo, Gävleborg, Sweden and Anders and Maja had the following children: Anna Elizabeth Berglund (sometimes called Anna Lisa) 1847-1925, Anders Petter Berglund 1850-1933, Greta Stina Berglund (later called herself Christina) 1853-1891, Johanna Catrina Berglund 1855-1856 (can't locate burial location in Sweden) Carl Johan Berglund 1860-1911, Erick Gustaf Berglund 1864-1935. Anders and Maja moved to American in 1866 with their five living children and settled in Minnesota.
