GERBER, Edna Peacefully in her sleep, at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton, with her husband of 70 years by her side, on Saturday, November 3, 2012. Edna (nee Albrecht) in her 96th year. Beloved wife of Steve. Loving mother of Marlene (Mel Lichty), Gary, Betty Lou Gilchrist (Dale), Ruth Anne (Elvern Biehn), Jamie (Karen) and predeceased by her daughter Sandra and son Andy. Dear grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her sister, Ruby Roth, brother, Bill Albrecht (Erma), sisters-in-law, Laura Gerber, Katie Gerber as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Jacob Albrecht and Lydia (nee Jantzi), her sister, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Erma (Nelson Ropp), Eileen (Lloyd Brenneman), Emmanuel Gerber (Clara Ann), Aaron Gerber (Mary Ann and Mary), Elmer Gerber, Annie (David Erb), Ida (Ezra Stere), Rachel (Irvin Bender) and Michael Gerber. Edna was an active member in the sewing circle at Crosshill Mennonite Church. She loved quilting, gardening and offering hospitality to many in her home. Friends may call at the FUTHER-FRANKLIN FUNERAL HOME , 1172 Henry Street, Wellesley, on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Crosshill Mennonite Church, Crosshill, on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 2 p.m. Pastor Doug Amstutz officiating. Interment to follow at Rush's Cemetery, Crosshill.
