Word has been received by James M. Carpenter of Sauk Rapids, of the death of his sister; Mrs. Etta Sparrow in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She was a former resident of Sauk Rapids.
Those surviving in addition to Mr. Carpenter are two daughters, Julia, Cedar Falls, Iowa and Mrs. Maynard Olson (Edna), Minneapolis and four sons, Robert, East Grand Forks; Merle, Fargo, N. Dakota; James and Hubert Sparrow of Minneapolis; one sister, Mrs. A.S. Hunter, also of Minneapolis, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her husband, Henry Sparrow died 12 years ago.
Funeral services will be held at the McDwell Funeral home, Minneapolis at 10 a.m. Thursday with burial in the family lot at Rice at 2 p.m.
