Services for LaRue W. Edge will be at 11am Tuesday at Mount Zion Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Edge died Sunday, May 28, 2000. A member and deacon of Mount Zion Baptist Church for more than 40 years, he had been a Sunday School teacher for more than 30 years and was retired from the Post Office in Macon where he served as personnel director. He was a former member of the Bibb County Exchange Club and a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Edge; children, Wesley Edge and Scott Edge, both of Macon; sisters, Lois Page and Mildred Lentz, both of Waycross; and four grandchildren
