Joyce Flurry*, Mother of Five Dies July 4th
Joyce Emeral Flurry*, 33, and a Grass Valley resident for 12 years, died at the Jones Memorial Hospital at 11:40 o'clock yesterday morning, July 4.
The Flurry* family make their home at 125 Ocean Avenue.
Mrs. Flurry*, mother of five and grandmother of one had been hospitalized since June 24th.
She was a native of Wisconsin, and born January 3, 1918.
Bereaved family members are her husband, Leo F. Flury, five children, Diane Pederson, Joe Ellen Pederson, Peggy Pederson, Donald Wayne Pederson, all of Grass Valley and Mrs. Barbara Makenson of Redding and one grandchild.
Other distant relatives make their home in the east.
Services have been arranged for 2 p.m. Monday, July 9th and will be held at the Hooper-Weaver Mortuary on South Church street.
Rev. Donald Getty of the First Methodist Church will be the attending clergyman. Interment will follow in Elm Ridge Lawn.

Funeral services were conducted yesterday at Hooper-Weaver Mortuary at 2 p.m. for Joyce E. Flurry*, 33, Grass Valley resident who died here last week. Rev. Donald Getty of the First Methodist Church officiated.
Interment was in Elm Ridge Lawn. Pallbearers were: Dick Clemence*, Walma Jensen, Howard Fickle, Ronald Dale, Bob Partington and William Mautino.
