Earl Wallingford, son of George Harland and Beulah Watkins Bailey, was born June 25 on a farm near Bussey. He was married to Orie Shinn in 1900 [typographical error actual date March 20, 1910]. They lived on farms in the Bussey area and Mr. Bailey was a livestock buyer until moving to town in 1936. After operating a grocery store, he was a realtor until retirement. He attended rural schools, graduated from Knoxville high school and Des Moines Business College. His parents and wife preceded him in death.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Joe (Vera) Tucker, Bussey, two brothers Charles of Bussey, and Chester of Orlando, Fla.
