CLARENCE JONES DIES HERE AT 85
Clarence G. Jones, 85, father of Mrs. Roger Andrews of Alliance, died this morning at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Mrs. Jones had lived at 426 Lane 4 since 1962 until a few weeks ago when he was moved to the Nursing Home.
He was born February 16, 1882, at Urbana, Ill., and married the late Kathryn Bower at Sutton in 1907. She died in 1961.
Mr. Jones was an electrician in Sutton and later was a custodian in the Lincoln city schools.
In addition to Mrs. Andrews, he is survived by a son, Harris of Waverly; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Easterling of Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are pending with the Bates-Lands Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
