Obituary.
MRS. PENNINAH BURCH.
Mrs. Penninah Burch died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clinton Spooner, in the township of Newton early Saturday morning following an illness of six months. Mrs. Burch's maiden name was Page and she was born in Lycoming county, Pennsylvania in 1838 where she passed her early girlhood days coming to Michigan in 1850. Mrs. Burch's husband died nine years ago and she is survived by two children, Jesse Burch, a son, of Battle Creek, and Mrs. Spooner the daughter at whose home she died. She was also a sister of Mrs. J. L. Bean of this city. The funeral was from the Congregational church of Fredonia of which she was a member, Monday p.m. at 1 o'clock, the burial being in the Fredonia cemetery.
