He was born in Hardin-co and was a member of the Methodist church in Alger and the Borrowed Time club.
Three other sons survive: J. W., Lisbon; W. R., 229 Harrison-av, and Harry W., 526 S. Pine-st; two daughters, Mrs. Etta Littler, Bellefontaine, and Mrs. Dorothy Reiff, Route 6; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
The body will remain in the Lewis funeral home for services at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Memorial chapel. The Rev. A. E. Oliver will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
