Miss Cannon was born August 5, 1913 in Oglethorpe, Macon County, GA, a daughter of Robert Orman Cannon and Nannie Leola Duncan Cannon. She had worked in the Housekeeping Department at the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation and was retired from the Little White House as a ticket salesperson. She was a member of Warm Springs First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Annie Florence Butcher, and Saralyn Greene, and three brothers, Duncan Cannon, Robert Cannon, and William Cannon.
Survivors include two sisters, Frances Frantz of Fresno, CA and Betty Chloe Greiner of Marietta, A; three brothers, Fred Cannon of San Marcos, CA, Frank Cannon of Manchester, GA, and Wimberly Cannon of Sarasota, FL; a number of nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Miss Cannon may be made to Warm Springs First Baptist Church.
