Emily Kuehn

Emily Kuehn, 96, of Anacortes, Wash, and formerly of Peru, died Sept. 14 in her daughter's home in Washington.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Ptak Funeral Home, Peru, with the Rev. Carl Eklof officiating. Burial will be in Peru City Cemetery. Cremation was accorded.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services Friday in the funeral home.

She was born on July 30, 1900, to Gustave and Mary (Maas) Fiedler. She married Otto Kuehn. He died in 1967.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Peru, and was the secretary for the Ladies Aid of St. John's Church. She was a gold star mother and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary in Peru.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Palma Bernardoni of Anacortes, Wash., with whom she made her home over the last 1 1/2 years; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son Arley J. Kuehn; a brother and three sisters.
