ST. MICHAEL — FARLEY – Mrs. Connie R. (Maticic), 70, St. Michael, entered into new life Oct. 29, 2012, at the Palliative Care unit of Windber Medical Center, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born Sept. 3, 1942, daughter of Joseph and Anne (Stiffler) Maticic. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Tanya; sister, Connie Lorraine; in-laws, Robert “Bud” and Lottie Farley; and brothers-in-law, Robert Cooper and Alexander Farley Sr. Survived by husband of 49 years, Robert Farley Sr.; son, Robert Jr. (Tracy), Hammonton, N.J.; and grandsons, Joseph and Ryan. Sister of JoAnn (Wendell) Wright, Robert Sr. (Loretta), Marilyn Cooper, Debra Dibert and Donna (Larry) Boyle; and in-laws, Jack (Patricia) Farley. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Connie worked for Amalgamated Clothing Union at William B. Kessler Clothing Factory and for Stineman Ribbon Co. Her favorite pastime was listening to country music, needlepoint and just being a homemaker, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt to her family.
Friends received from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday at Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale, the Rev. Thomas Moore, officiating. Inurnment, Dunmyer Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at kinleyfuneralhome.com.
