Dollie Mae Shaw Evans Carver was a daughter of Will and Tempy Shaw.

1. She was first married at age 16, on August 23, 1903, at Galena, Kansas to Oliver B. Evans age 20 of Jasper County Missouri. They had a son Milton or Melton Evans born ca 1905, together and divorced before 1910 Federal census. She and son are with her parents.

2. She married John Thomas Carver, Jr. on November 29, 1911 at Carthage, Mo.
3. She married Ira Luther Scott, who had previously been married at Crestline to Rosa Stith, March 02, 1902. Their children in 1910 Federal census were: Lorene Scott, 7; Louis Scott, 5; Fern Scott, 8/12.
Rosa Jane Stith Scott died 10 May 1919. None of their children are with Ira and Dollie in the 1930 census.
According to his daughter, Lorene Rose Scott Coker #22709256 bio., she was survived by her stepmother, Mrs. Flora M. Scott.

MRS. MOLLIE CARVER, 62,
OF NEAR GALENA DIES.


Galena, Kan., May 11.- Mrs. Dollie Carver, 62 years old, died at 6:40 o'clock this morning at her home near Carver Springs, south of Galena. She had been ill two years and was bedfast the last six months.

She was born in Galena and had resided in this vicinity all her life. She was affiliated with the Baptist church.

Surviving are three sons, Melton (or Milton) Evans of Carlsbad, N. M., John Carver of the home and Ted Carver of Columbus route 4; two sisters, Mrs. Scott Blick of Galena and Mrs. Earl Childress of Baxter Springs; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are in charge of the Derfelt-Booe funeral home.

Carver Funeral

Galena, Kan., May 12. - Funeral services for Mrs. Dollie Carver, 62 years old, who died Thursday morning at her home south of Galena, will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Sixth Street Baptist church. The Rev. Dow Booe and the Rev. Arthur Beatty will officiate. Burial will be in Gandy cemetery under direction of the Derfelt-Booe funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Porter, Roy Porter, Ray Porter, Otis Blick, Leslie Carver and Harold Childress.

HONOR ON MRS. CARVER


Galena, Kan., April 17.— Mrs. John Carver, widow of John Carver pioneer member of the A. H. T. A. lodge No. 144, who died last winter was enrolled as honorary member at the regular meeting of the lodge Thursday night. She has the distinction of being the first and only woman member of the lodge.

Mrs. Carver is held in high esteem by the members of the lodge and every consideration is being extended her by the farmers of that vicinity to assist her in caring for the farm homestead at Shoal creek. Last Monday twelve farmers with their teams went to the farm and plowed approximately twenty acres to be planted in spring crops. Women of the neighborhood served lunch to the workers.
