Mrs. Oscar Gustafson, 27, former Esther Bandt, a lifelong resident of Iron Mountain, died at 8 last night at the Swedish Covenant Hospital, Chicago. She had suffered 2 Paralytic Strokes last November & had been failing ever since. She went to Chicago 2 months ago.
Esther Bandt attended Iron Mountain school & made her home with her moth, Mrs. Anna Bandt,
701 West Brown Street, who was with her when she died.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Gustafson is survived by her husband; 3 sisters: Mrs. A.E. Swanson, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Nels Nindell, Chicago, Illinois & Miss Ruth, Iron Mountain; 6 brothers: Oscar,
Elmer, John, Harry, Hjalmer & Axel, all Iron Mountain.
The body will arrive tomorrow for burial will be in Cemetery Park.
Her 6 brothers will serve as pallbearers.
