Cleo Beth Liebers, age 89, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1987, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, July 10, 2005. Cloe was born October 9, 1915 in Alvo, NE, the daughter of Glenn Ellsworth and Florence Belle Chapin Armstrong. Cloe married Max P. Liebers of Minden, NE on August 12, 1940 at the Liebers farm home where Max was born. Cloe enjoyed traveling, camping, her flower and vegetable gardens, visiting with many of her friends and families over the many years of her life. Cloe was a member of the Rio Rancho United Methodist Church, Past Grand of Rebekah Lodge #10 of Albuquerque, VFW Auxiliary and DAV Auxiliary of Rio Rancho, (Triple Link for 64 years). Cloe volunteered for several years at the Albuquerque VA Hospital and the Rio Rancho Senior Center. Cloe is survived by her husband Max, daughter, Carol LaVonne Pulis of Anchorage, AK and son David Lawrence Liebers of Norfolk, NE, four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, July 12, 2005 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Service for Cloe will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rio Rancho United Methodist Church, 1652 Abrazo Rd. NE, Rio Rancho with Pastor Chuck Bader officiating. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 18, 2005 in Minden, NE. A Reception will follow the service at the Rio Rancho United Methodist Church in the church fellowship hall with refreshments furnished by the Rebekah Lodge #10 and the Ladies of the church.
