Mrs. Dorris Fowler Dead.

Mrs. Dorris Fowler died last night at 9:30 o'clock at her home, 602 Peyton Avenue, from general breakdown. Miss Isabel Moore was born September 18, 1852 in Morgan County, Indiana. She came to Emporia in 1868. She was married March 10, 1874, to Dorris Fowler, at the Fowler homestead, southeast of Emporia. The surviving children are: Perry Fowler, of Fredonia; Ray Fowler, Wilbur Fowler and John Fowler, and Mrs. Hallie Schaffer, of Emporia. She is survived by her husband, Dorris Fowlere, and sisters Mrs. Lizzie Rice, of Denver; Mrs. Charles Wilhite, of El Reno, Okla., and Mrs. W.R. Suddock, of Allen; and a brother, James Moore, of Madison.

Mrs.Fowler was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and of the Fraternal Aid Lodge.

The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Fowler home, 602 Peyton Avenue. The services will be in charge of Rev. T.J. Strickler. Interment will be in the Fowler Cemetery.
