The Oklahoman, Friday, Sep 18, 1973:
William A. Alley, 84, of 1817 W. Park, formerly the oldest living member of Knights of Pythias in Oklahoma, died Thursday in St Anthonys Hospital after a short illness. Services will be 10 am Saturday in Guardian Midtown Funeral Home with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.

He was born in Indiana and came to Oklahoma City in 1898. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and Carpenters Local 329. He had been a member of Knights of Phythias since 1911.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel; son, John, McKinney, TX; two daughters, Mrs Mary Gardyne, 2825 Northampton Place; and Mrs Velcia Reid, 517 E. Rose Drive, Midwest City; and a brother, Dale, OKC.
