SUDDEN DEATH OF MRS. W. B. LATTA
Succumbs in Sanitarium at Battle Creek, Michigan, where she has spent past two years.
Daughter of J. A. McGonigle

Word was received late last night of the death of Mrs. Margaret McGonigle Latta, which occurred in a sanitarium in Battle Creek, Mich. The telegram telling of her death came as a shock to members of the McGonigle family, as only yesterday a congratulatory Thanksgiving telegram was received by the family. By members of the family here, it is believed that Mrs. Latta died quite suddenly of heart trouble. A year ago she underwent an operation, and from this never fully recovered.
Mrs. Latta was born in Leavenworth forty-one years ago last June. She attended the city schools and was always popular in the younger set of her day. She was married to William B. Latta in this city, March 2, 1897. Five years ago she was bereaved of her husband, whose death occurred at Hot Springs, Ark., February 14, 1908. Since the death of her husband, her home has alternated between Leavenworth and New York City. Much of the time during the past two years she has been at the Battle Creek Sanitarium.
Mrs. Latta is survived by her parents. Mr. and Mrs. James McGonigle, her sisters, Miss Stella McGonigle of this city, and Mrs. Henry Gibbins, wife of Captain Gibbins, now in Tennessee; and her brothers, Ed McGonigle of Pueblo and James McGonigle, Jr., of this city.
Captain McGonigle was reached in Denver late last night with news of his daughter's death. Funeral arrangements have not been decided upon.
