Nile Newton Arnold, age 69, of Pulaski died Wednesday, March 4, 1998 in the Columbia Pulaski Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Lonnie G. Arnold and Blanche Dunford Arnold. He was retired from the Pulaski Furniture Company. He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Arnold and a sister, Cora E. Quackenbush.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, five sons, five sisters and three brothers. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Friday, March 6 at 1 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel in Wytheville with the Rev. Randall Lawrence and the Rev. Mildred Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Jones Cemetery.
The family will, receive friends at the Barnett Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday or at the residence at any time.
