She was born Aug. 13, 1916, in Fairmont, a daughter of the late Vincenzo "Jim" and Maria Gratia Cerbirti Pileggi.
Miss Pileggi was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Fairmont. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Joan of Arc No. 341, as well as a member of the Daughter of Isabella in Madison, Ind. Angelina was a retired seamstress from the Indiana State Hospital, in Madison, Ind. and a former Indiana State Employee of the Year. She enjoyed cooking and sewing in her personal life as well as in her professional life.
Angelina is survived by several loving nieces and nephews, James Billota, Thomas Mustachio, James Mustachio, Mary Rose Mustachio, Rose Pileggi, Clare Pileggi and Thomas Pileggi Jr.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph Pileggi, Thomas Pileggi, Frederico Pileggi, Concheta Billota, Rose Mustachio and Clorinda Pileggi; as well as a nephew, John "Jack" Billota.
Friends and family may call the Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. A ritual will be held by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Joan of Arc No. 341 at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 406 Alta Vista Ave., Fairmont, at 11 a.m. Friday, with Father Patsy Iaquinta as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, in Fairmont.
