NOXON – Floyd Harmon "Slim" Stambaugh, 80, of Noxon died Friday, August 18, 1995 as the result of an automobile accident on Highway 200 near Noxon.
He was born March 9, 1915 at Maple Hill, Kan. To John and Pearl Hines Stambaugh. He grew up at St. Marys, Kan., where he was graduated from high school. He farmed there for many years before coming to Montana and working for the U.S. Forest Service. He also assisted the Sanders County Sheriff's Department by serving as a guide in back woods area.
He is survived by two brothers, Merle Stambaugh, Topeka, Kan.; and Marion Stambaugh, Tuscon, Ariz.
Memorial Services are to be held at a later date.
