NOXON – Graveside memorial services for Isobel Violet Rasmussen, 83, longtime Noxon area resident, were conducted Monday, Dec. 18, at Noxon Cemetery.
Mrs. Rasmussen died of natural causes Thursday, Dec. 14, 1995 at Clark Fork Valley Hospital in Plains.
She was born Sept. 24, 1912 near Heron to Robert and Mary Lillard Dodge. The family lived in Michigan until returning to the Noxon area when Isobel was six years old. She attended grade school and high school at Noxon.
In 1931, Isobel and Harvey Nelsen were married at Spokane, Wash., and made their home at Noxon. He preceded her in death.
In 1941, Isobel and Ivan Rasmussen were married, and lived at Noxon. Ivan died in 1983.
Isobel was associated with Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include a son, Wade Nelsen, Roosevelt, Ariz.; two brothers, Clarence Dodge, Thompson Falls and Maurice Dodge, Spokane, Wash.; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Coffelt-Bunch Funeral Service of Plains.
