Herbert P. Bruckner, 94, of Chilton, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Willowdale Nursing Home in New Holstein.

He was born on September 10, 1920 in Charlestown, WI, son of the late Gustave Sr. and Elizabeth (Leitner) Bruckner.
Herb served his country in the United States Navy. Following his discharge he attended Milwaukee Layton School of Art.
He was employed at American Cars in Milwaukee building cars and later worked at MB in Chilton.

Herbert was a member of the Chilton American Legion and enjoyed golfing and bartending at Hickory Hills in his younger years.

Survivors include his special friend, Ruth Kennon and her daughters, Sandy and Sherry; two sisters, Theresa (Ed) Rozman and Lenora Boll; and a sister-in-law, Irene Bruckner. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Herbert was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters, Norman, Emil, Irene Bruckner, Andrew, Betty Williams, Elmer, Gus, and Irma Gruett.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein with the Rev. Harry Berryman officiating. Burial will take place at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call at the church from 9:00am to 10:45am on Friday, April 10, 2015
