OBITUARY
A Mass for Mrs. Irena Dawidowicz, 78, of Linden will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in St. Theresa's Church, Linden, after the funeral from the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden.
Mrs. Dawidowicz, who died Monday in Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, was an inspector for General Motors Inc. in Linden for 22 years before retiring in 1980.
During World War II, Mrs. Dawidowicz served in the British Royal Air Force with a rank of acting corporal, stationed in the Middle East, India and London.
Born in Kopyczynce, Poland, she lived in Newark and Elizabeth before moving to Linden in 1966.
Surviving are daughters, Elizabeth K. Miserere and G. Barbara; a brother, Frank Platta, and sisters, Stella Rawicki and Amelia Veltze.
