Evelyn O.Bachman, 78, of Noxon died of natural causes on Sunday, February 20, in Sandpoint, Idaho. Evelyn was born November 29, 1915, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she grew up and attended schools. She was very active in the Lancaster area where she owned and operated 11 greenhouses.
She retired in 1976, and moved to Noxon, where she met and married Edward Bachman on April 1976, in Sandpoint, She was very active in the community activities of Noxon and was a great supporter of the Girl Scouts. Evelyn was a charter member of the Noxon Senior Citizens and a life member of the Iris Club. She attended the Noxon Community United Methodist Church. Evelyn enjoyed playing bridge and bingo and loved her flowers. Her parents and a brother preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be at 2 PM Wednesday at the Noxon Cemetery with the Reverend David Parker officiating.
