Passed away this morning, Aug. 25, in St. Mary's Hospital. Mr. Sanders was born in Dubuque, Iowa on March 12, 1896. He had been, employed at the Milwaukee Road for 45 years, until his illness. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church and Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife, Genevieve; two daughters, Mrs. Francis (Alice) Quirk and Mrs. Eugene (Mary Margaret) Boyle of Racine; four sons, Thomas of Racine, Prater Richard M.S.C. of Shelby, Ohio, Alvin J. of Milwaukee and John of Kenosha; seven grandchildren; one brother, Frank of Dubuque, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. William Heitz and Mrs. Martin Newman of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 8:30 a. m., in the Maresh Funeral Home and 9 a. m. in St. Patrick's Church, Rev. Thomas J. Riordan officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the MARESH FUNERAL HOME, Main at Eighth Sts., Monday afternoon after 2 o'clock. The Rosary will be recited Monday evening, 7:30, in the funeral home.
