Helen M. Andersen A Wife to One & A Mother to All Our precious wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother returned to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father August 6, 2004. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her. She was born March 7, 1921 in Kaysville, UT to Dorr and Audrey Marsh. She married Clifford William Andersen on April 22, 1940; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving many callings including Young Women's advisor, Relief Society Presidency, and loved to sing in the ward choir. Helen opened her heart and her home to anyone in need. She had an unwavering testimony of the Gospel and shared that with all who would listen (and even those who wouldn't). She is survived by her husband of 64 years; children Sharon Lems, Linda (Ken) Grandbouche, Dennis (Alberta) Andersen and Rusty (Kelly) Andersen; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grand-children; two great-great-grandchild-ren; brother Robert (LaVon); and sister-in-law LaVon Marsh. Preceded in death by her parents; grandson Troy Andersen; brothers Jack, Grant, JC and Gordon; and sisters Doreen Jones and Ruth Marsh. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 11 at 11 a.m. at the Poplar Grove Ward, 1401 West 700 South, Salt Lake City. Friends may call on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Rd., West Jordan and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment to follow at Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 East Crestwood Road.
