Bobby Ray Ragsdale, 74, of Clay, died April 6, 2008. Born July 12, 1933, at Egypt, he was the son of Alvin and Bonnie Rae (Hufstedler) Ragsdale.

Survivors include his wife, Patty Ragsdale; two sons, Mike Ragsdale and wife Trisha, Searcy, and Mark Ragsdale and wife Kari, Cheyenne, Wyo.; two brothers, Bill Ragsdale, Dinuba, Calif., and Bowen Ragsdale, Turlock, Calif.; a sister, Frances Davis, Fresno, Calif.; four grandchildren, Jay Ragsdale, Tyler Ragsdale, Maggie Ragsdale and Robin Ragsdale; two great-grandchildren; and two aunts, Lucy Fender and Glenda Marchbanks, both of Walnut Ridge.

A military funeral service was held Thursday at Searcy-McEuen Chapel in Searcy with Bro. Donald Leeth officiating. Burial was in Howell Cemetery at Clay.
