Charles Elwood Sloas, 86, of Flatwoods passed away at home on Sunday, October 28, 2012.

He was born April 13, 1926, in Ashland, KY., to the late George and Goldie Picklesimer-Sloas.

He is survived by his wife Roseann Winters Sloas of Flatwoods.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Flatwoods, 1206 Bluegrass Street, Flatwoods, Kentucky 41139. Burial will follow at Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2012, at Carman Funeral Home, 2301 Argillite Road, Flatwoods, KY. 41139.
