STEUBENVILLE, Ohio - Allie May Blessing, 76, of Steubenville died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at Trinity Medical Center West emergency room.

May was born Oct. 14, 1928, in Hartford, W.Va., the daughter of the late Fay D. and Martha Coleman Blessing. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Fay Delbel "Bud" Blessing Jr and an infant brother.

May was retired from Columbia Gas Company as a secretary. She was a member of the Two Ridge Presbyterian Church in Wintersville, American Legion Post 557 Auxiliary in Wintersville and the Jefferson County Historical Society.

May is survived by three sisters, Betty Graziani of Defiance, Ohio, Audrey Minich of Wintersville, Ohio and Arlene (Charles) Mosti; her good friend and companion, Vincent Laneve; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for May will be today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the McClave-Chandler- Mills Inc., Funeral Home, 611 N. 4th St., Steubenville where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, with Rev. Wendy Norris officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Steuben Burial Estate in Wintersville.
